floor description:

As with the commercial kitchen for Vector Informatik GmbH, the seamless, slip-resistant and trip-free kitchen flooring was installed to be slip-resistant throughout. In accordance with DIN 10506, all overlapping surfaces and all rising components such as coving and plinths were installed smoothly.

Especially for cleaning sugar, chocolate, cocoa and whipped cream, a smooth coving is the be-all and end-all for hygiene and cleaning management in a patisserie.

For a watertight patisserie, BARiT offers a complete composite system with screed, gutters and drains, upper composite waterproofing, structural waterproofing and kitchen flooring in all slip resistance classes.

project description:

Many awards show that the canteen business of the Traube Tonbach (Finkbeiner KG family) implements a unique culinary experience at Traube Tonbach level with CANtine - Made by Traube Tonbach at VECTOR Informatik GmbH in Stuttgart.

Unique are the desserts with exquisite cakes, fine desserts, so it was soon clear to the Vector kitchen that the patissiers would get their own patisserie to be able to show their skills for the daily business as well as for events.

The conversion was supervised by the engineering group Walter + Partner and so a side room and storage room became a patisserie for daily top performances.

In 2017, the Vector IT CAMPUS was awarded the DGNB Platinum certificate and received the DGNB Diamond for outstanding architecture with special design and building culture quality. It is thus the first and only building in the world to combine both awards. In 2019, the project was also recognised as "exemplary" (Beispielhaftes Bauen Stuttgart 2015-2019). Events with more than 200 visitors can be held simultaneously in the new auditorium and seminar area. Up to 1,500 meals a day are served in the staff restaurant.
