floor description:

The seamless museum terrazzo in the grain color: HAVANNA was installed in all foyer areas, in the elevator, as well as on the stairs and corridors on two floors. The monochrome terrazzo emphasizes the architecture with its seamless appearance. In the cafeteria, color-coordinated chairs and carpets provide a contrast to the monochrome floor covering.

project description:

Hammeskrause Architects designed a building with a lot of glass and high design standards. Based on the ground floor are lecture halls, cafeterias, work rooms and offices.

The other floors are equipped with laboratories and dark laboratories. The heart of the building is a yard flooded by light and crossed by bridges connecting the conference rooms. The BARiT Museums-Terrazzo connects the different parts of the building.

In order to implement the seamlessness, a composite heating screed was installed on the ground floor. The museum terrazzo, which was applied in a sand-cream grain, was thus given a seamless surface.
